The aroma and flavor have a nice tart fruity character favoring cherry and berries, a splash of citrus, caramel sweetness, oak, lactic sour notes. The flavor has an additional hint of cinnamon. Very tasty, I’m glad I was in the right place at the right time.

Botella. New US state. Amber reddish colour, small bubbly beige head. Quite pleasant berry cherry sour aroma, some wood too. Flavour has cherries, a good sourness, some wood, sweet. Very pleasant.

Had to score this one high. The use of cherries allowed this to sour very beautifully. The nose is incredibly inviting and hints at the funk contained within. Given the age, this could have gone either way - it went the right way
