UPDATED: JAN 14, 2022 Black with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of whiskey, oak, and dark chocolate with a nice balance between the three. Taste is mildly sweet with a bitter finish. Full-bodied, chewy, mild carbonation. Highest rated beer of my ABQ trip.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2019 Draft to taster at Fobab 18. Pours dark brown to black in color with a small khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, dark chocolate, bourbon, wood, an earthy, character, boozy, good. 

Bottle shared at Freetail. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is smoke, roast, bourbon, wood. Medium body, roast, caramel, bourbon, oak, nice booze finish, very good.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a vanilla bourbon note up front with some sweet dark grains and roasted malts supporting. Flavor has some thin dark grains with roasted malts and a bit of bourbon towards the finish.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. nose is great roast malts vanilla brown sugar plenty of the bourbon barrel goodness and some booze. taste is more of the bourbon barrel notes vanilla brown sugar some coffee and plenty roast malts. This is very nice.

Bomber. Super dark pour. Some vanilla and wood. Somewhat rich. Maybe a little under carbonated. Good.

On tap at In De Wildeman. Pours near black with a big beige head. Aroma of vanilla, oak, bourbon, milk chocolate, molasses, fudge, light soy and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Captivating aroma of barrel aged, sour head so delicate. Roasted caramel. More a barley wine than stout. Very rich bourbon truffle aftertaste.

Bomber: Shared with Joes and Iluvatarmilan in tasters: Fresh as in "I just opened the bottle" the bourbon ridiculously drives this beer insane in a unbalanced way. After a day, I had a complete different beer, full oatmeal with some thick dark chocolate tones and malts/malt roast/chocomalt tones. Bit spicy but very nice. Bourbon has faded very very much! Aftertaste is quite the same, but becoming less stronger than in the actual taste. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, fuller bodied. Fresh: 3.8 Old: 4.1 Overall: 4

Marble Brewery Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout - 11% abv. This jet black, viscous imperial stout has a distinct aroma of rye from bourbon barrel aging. The first sip is intensely sweet and memorable. I was taken aback by the distinct flavor that this beast unleashed on my palate. As he warmed up, its sweetness mellowed out leaving a relatively easy drinking anise flavored snifter of love.
