Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of spice hops, malt, and caramel, but also a light note of lactic acid. The flavor is lactic acid, malt, spices, and hay, leading to a tart finish. If a sour ale was the aim it wouldn’t be so bad.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a lacing, off-white head. Pumpkin pie spices in the nose, but again a lurking lactic infection. Medium body, very lively carbonation, again X-mas spices and a distinct infected tartness. 260713

Flaska.

Murky light brown with highlights of orange, off white head which doesnt last. Cloves, orange zest, cinnamon and spice in the nose. Sour in the flavour, with more big cloves and spice, along with some boiled vegetables. Theres some background hop bitterness too. Softly carbonated, big enough body. More sourness in the finish along with some alcohol warmness.

330ml shared at home. pours a hazy ruby gold, good lacing on the glass. Horribly sharp aroma of pickles, cinnamon, cloves, orange, figs. Kind of burns the back of the nose. Taste is initial strong sourness, little bit of sweetness and bitterness comes after. Again quite acidic. Spiced finish. Bit watery on the mouthfeel too. Overall, quite poor, I thought, had such high hopes for this and I wish it could have been better.
