Pours honey-golden. Thick eggshell head with little lacing. Lively carbonation. Nose of grapefruit, lemon, floral and orange peel. Very malty backbone; maybe too much. Disappointing on the palate; quite thin. Taste of citrus, caramel, spice and grass.

On tap tonight at Old Chicago Eden Prairie. Light orange pour, little carbonation and a light fruity nose. Flavor was light hops, sweet orange and finished with a mellow lingering marmalade aftertaste. A good summer session beer.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Slightly hazy deep gold colour. Rich aroma for the alcohol level, fresh citrus and floral. Medium bodied, not too overpowering, very drinkable.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours cloudy dark orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma is slight spiced, hoppy and soapy. Bitter, citrusy and grapefruity. Light peachy too. Dry and hoppy finish. Nice and crisp.

Bottle served in an English pint glass. Pours a hazy iced tea color with a big, sticky off-white head. Smells of fresh grapefruit, lemon peel, and toffee. The flavor is crisp and balanced. Surpisingly there are some sweet chocolate notes layered under the citrus and grass flavors. Quite an interesting take on the style, almost a bridge between American and English pale ales. A damn fine session beer.

Pours orange/amber with a murky look. Practically no head, so the appearance was lacking overall. Resin and spruce hops with some citrus notes. Too strong, as the nose had an ammonia type quality to it. Unfortunately the nose didn’t translate to the palate, which was surprisingly thin. OK, but disappointing.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. Aroma and flavor are mildly malty with lots of citrusy, piney hops. Very hoppy without the bitterness. Tasty. A little tingly on the tongue.
