| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Pours deep mahogany with a thick, holding tan head. What an awesome aroma! Perfect... chocolate malts, coffee, roastiness, sweetness/bitterness, light smoke, a hint of dark fruit... nothing wrong in the aroma department. Excellent for the style (or for the "malted genre" in general). Mouth is a little thin and dry, but the flavors are damn solid. Comforting, bittersweet chocolate... with just a drop of alcohol to remove you from your safety-zone. I’ve GOT to get out to Denver again...

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2010 Bottled. Black-brown with red all in it with small brown head. Aroma is burnt and sweet malty lighter chocolate and vanilla. Vanilla flavor on top of flavors of roasted milk chocolates and other sweetness in malts. A cream body that is full and not light on hops either, this brew finishes dry. williamherbert (610), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 7, 2010 Dark black with brown highlights around the edges. Very little head. Dark and completely opaque. Light Jackon Pollack-like lace.
Impressive strong malty smell, with the requisite undertones of coffee. Roasted malt with a nutty flavor. The scent is very strong and hovers above the glass.
Heavy stout/porter malt flavor. Coffee taste really bursts out. Minor grape/berry sweetness. Leaves a bit of sweetness in the aftertaste; mild finish after a bitter intro. Heavy flavor.
Thick but smooth, Leaves a reminder on the tongue. Has a slight tar-like feel, thick and viscous. A very flavorful porter, with a lot of character. One is my limit, however.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2010 Pours dark brown with a big tan head. Aroma is slightly toasty with a nutty backbone, hops still discernible. Flavor is mostly nutty with sweet undertones. Finish is abrupt and clean. Not bad. taphandle (130), Texas, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2010 Very dark or black with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and roastiness, but not as strong as in some other porters. Very carbonated with hints of bitterness along with slightly bitter coffee flavors. The carbonation comes back again in the finish with bitterness as the very end. Decent porter - palate could probably feel a little thicker and there is some harshness to the flavor I can’t ignore. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2010 Updated: Feb 20, 2010Great Divide St. Bridget’s Porter -- 2/18/2010 from 12 oz. bottle . . .
Aroma: Slightly sweet; Malty, but not too sweet or bready; Rich chocolate.
Appearance: Clear; Medium-dark reddish-brown; Creamy tan head with good retention; Some lacing.
Taste: Lightly sweet; Chocolate dominates; Hops nicely balance chocolate.
Palate: Crisp; Carbonation good; Warm; Good hops finish with nice semi-sweet aftertaste.
Overall: A nice brew. Hops presence works with the sweet chocolate to make this interesting. We’d buy it again. mikalooch (185), , New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2010 Bottle. Pours a deep burnt caramel color with nice tan head, thin lacing. I get a lot of coffee in the nose, mixed with burnt wood chips. Flavor is a bit subdued for a robust porter, mostly dark chocolate with heavily roasted malt, a touch of sweetness in there also. A bit thinner than most porters, easy to drink though. Decent, worth a try. strongpieman (80), Mount Airy, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 14, 2010 The color is somewhat light for a porter and looked a little more like a brown ale. Aroma of roasted malts. Flavors of chocolate and lesser amounts of coffee. Medium body and a little less thick than other porters. Soft carbonation. degbert (128), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 9, 2010 Poured from bottle. Good color and head, with a typical porter aroma of roast and coffee. The taste, though, didn’t work; it reminded me of coffee that someone had left out on a hotplate overnight. I can’t recommend this beer.
