Almost a rye like nose with some definite black pepper and toffee aromas, I get some definite cherry notes too. The flavor has some great cherry sourness up front and a ton of crazy spiciness from the black pepper. I think its a little to heavy on the pepper but the finish is a very grain heavy caramel finish. Again I thought of a rye beer. Very odd. This is different and great though. Very well made.

Taste:
Grape and plum. The aftertaste is very long. Light on the bitterness. Meduim sour. Sweet and sour. The sour reminds me of sour green apples coated with caramel.
