Clean, somewhat sweet malty flavor with a nice, lightly resinous hop character displaying citrus and spice. Decent body. Well balanced bitterness. Easy drinking ale.

I know that I liked it, but I do not remember much about it. Drank it second of four samples in a flight at The Nook. Should probably have it again to give it a more fair shake. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2010 Even with an aggressive I was left with a quick dissipating head and a few large bubbles. The APA itself matched the rye and medium bitterness well together. tnkw01 (249), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2010 Bottle. Pours a dark gold color. This was wonderfully balanced beer that had both a strong hop taste and a strong malt one. Aroma was more on the hoppy side with a slight caramel sweet note. Pretty good. jnelson_22 (71), Spaldwick, Cambridgeshire, England
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 23, 2010 The bottle I had was a few months past the exp date, but here we go. Pours a nice gold with a decent white head. The nose has a decent amount of citrus hop bitterness and some malt backbone. Similar in the mouth, but the rye definitely gives it a bitter dryness on the swallow. Good session beer, but I’m not a huge fan. leaparsons (4912), Leicester, Leicestershire, England
