Bottle 12fl.oz. @ home.
Clear medium amber color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy soft mild, light brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, nutty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100302]

Bottled. Pours a clear red brown with a nice white head on it and a lot of lacing. Aroma is light, slightly spicy and caramelly, and nutty. The flavor is also fairly light, with caramel and roastiness, nuttiness, and a spicy, minty hop finish. Fairly thin body with a good quantity of carb. I had no idea this was supposed to be a weizen bock until I entered my rate here, and it’s pretty far off track in regards to that. However, it is pretty pleasant to drink and we aren’t exactly rating to style here.

Bottle. A - Dark copper brown with a medium off-white head. S - Spicy with a slight malt smell as well. T - Toasted caramel malt with a lot of herbal and spicy flavors to it. Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, some orange peel amongst other wintery spices. Slight hop bitterness that probably also contributes a bit to the slight citrus flavor. M - Medium bodied (maybe a touch on the light side), and mid carbonation. D - Fine, but probably depends on your mood. The spices aren’t overpowering but after a couple I think it would probably get to be a bit much. Notes: Good winter ale that is warming. The spices combined the way they are, really do remind me of winter.

A good beer with a bit of a bite to it. Hoppy with an interesting aroma. I was surprised. I enjoy this more than their Boston Lager. A fine beer.

Aroma - malty, hint of sweetness; Appearance - brown, fluffy head, average lacing; Taste - basic malt front, mildly bitter hop back, finish is somewhat dry; Palate - slightly crisp, pretty good body; Overall - solid effort however nothing really stands out, a bit disappointing for the style, easy drinking for a winter brew.

Amber with a small off-white head. Weak malty aroma completely covered in christmas cookie and pumpkin pie spice - certainly not my thing. Dry and malty flavour with the spices playing a more balanced part.
