Aroma of sweet stewed fruits, caramel, malt, biscuit, honey, touch of veg. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish. Not unpleasant.

Aroma of toasted malt, dried fruits, biscuit, some honey, sweet bread, raisins, dates and honey. Medium body with an average carbonation, a light sweetness and a light bitterness. The flavor is similar to the smell but with less sweet malt than expected after the smell - bread, toasted bread, hints of caramel, some dried fruits. Finishes with a light residual malt sweetness and a very light bitterness. Overall decent but nothing special. Aroma: 6 Appearance: 4 Taste: 6 Palate: 3 Overall: 11

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2019 330ml bottle from a wooden gift set of average Swiss beers, thanks Eric for this. Pours clear golden amber, small off-white cap. Aroma is fairly gentle lager malt. Taste is safe lager territory, gentle sweet malt, a touch of caramel and corn but generally nothing untoward.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours brown with little head and a sweet toasty-malty nose. Interesting, toffee-nutty malt and dry grassy hops, like a Pils/Vienna hybrid, not as hop-forward as an American amber
