Aroma is grainy, caramel, sweet malt, cardboard. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Okay.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2023 500 ml bottle at Remo. Cloudy yellow with white head. Malty, bready notes with yeast and mild yeast esters

50cl bottle from a Süpermarket in Girne (Kyrenia), Turkish occupied northern part of Cyprus. 🇹🇷 Smooth and a bit dusty grainy beginning. Easy to drink, refreshing with a nice subtle yeasty dusty background. Full in taste, not too sweetish, no bitterness. Refreshing and round. Nice!

Bottle from Adka. Pours hazy golden, small white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty. Taste is medium sweet, only bit of hoppyness, malty, bit yeasty.

Bottle @ Antalya TUrkey. aroma agrumato, limone, citrico. Giallo dorata velata, schiuma bianca grossolana effimera. gusto debole, agrumato, metallico, luppolo industriale. Leggermente acida. un po’ spigolosa, poco corposa per nulla calda.

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly lemony citrus hop and malt. Medium thin bodied. Flavor is light on the citrus/lemon and light on the malt, too. Easy going with a crisp finish. Decently better than the standard Efes.

(50cl bottle) Packaged in an unique root beer candy barrel looking bottle. Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, musty corn husks, and grass. Flavor of grain, light sweet corn, and earthiness with a moderately dry finish.

Pours a pale hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is there, I’m sure of it. Taste is also around somewhere; probably hiding somewhere with the aroma.

Fun bottle design. Nice hazy appearance--I imagined that if an unfiltered style was mainstreamed in the U.S., it would cause some average Joe beer drinkers to freak out because it challenges everything we’ve been taught about macro beers. I also had the Bomonti unfiltered, and I thought this was the better of the two--more body, more rounded flavor. Bottle purchased in Istanbul.

Picked up in Istanbul. Pours a hazy and very pale yellow color, topped with a very small white head. There’s not much to the aroma. All I could pick up were some grains and slight malts. Nothing else. The taste was similarly non-expressive. Bland, slightly sweet and grainy, but that was it. To be fair, this one was the worst I found in Istanbul.
