COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

pivnizub (12929) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle (courtesy of Omhper!!!): Deep, deep golden, bigger creamy off-white head, moderate to solid dryish fruity and (wal-)nutty nose, herbal hops underneath; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, relatively light bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering dry nutty, malty and hoppy finish. Nice, nice, nice...

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 17, 2012
courtesy of Per - cloudy copper-orange beer under a long lasting and solid beige foam; grassy hoppiness with notes of ripe fruits; highly carbonated and with a respectable malt backbone; some sweetness and a long fruity and grassy finish - well-made and balanced

Sample @ SMÖF 2012. Pours hazy golden with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with cereal, white bread, flower nectar, apples, pears and slightly dry grass. Taste is sweet and malty with white bread, crackers, pears, apples, dried flowers and slightly dry grass. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly smooth, round, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet, tiny bitter and malty with white bread, cereal, pears and hay. Had hoped for more...

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 28 Sep 2012) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, apricots and a touch of citrus peel. Malty, slightly fruity taste with apricots, orange, a touch of caramel, dried fruit and a slightly sweet finish with a gentle, spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a soft malt character and a certain sweetness. Well balanced and very nice.

Gravity cask @ SBWF 2012. Pours orange. "Dirty" malt, marzipan and alcohol notes in aroma. Taste is fruity but a bit too bitter. Notes of orange and vegtables. Smooth. Interesting, but not a perfect bockbier.

Cloudy amber color with medium, compact head. It has a mild malt aroma, and very light perception of vegetables. Good body strength, soft and round mouthfeel, with mild caramel flavor and moderate sweetness; correct bitterness; a light touch of honey in the end; the final is a bit short.
It’s a correct brew, but very ordinary; maybe a wrong bottle…
