Pours a black color with a tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malts. Flavor is roasted malts with a slight coffee taste. Average stout their best beer.

Classic stout in many ways. Mouthfeel was chewy and sweet, aromas were smoothly roasted, flavors were rich and chocolaty, etc. Tasty, easy-drinking stout.

Draught. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted/burnt grain, dark chocolate), with a note of straw. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Finish is lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. Fairly decent flavor balance, but the aroma seems primitive to me.
