it tastes like a poor mans yuengling. This beer gets points for the little quizes inside the bottle caps.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 19, 2010 Pretty basic pale lager, corn malt aroma, similar flavor, light and crisp palate, nothing special (except maybe the $4.99 per 6 pack price tag) promtheus (152), Richmond, Virginia, USA

It has the makings of a pale lager with light hops and malt up front, but has a nice sweet note that made it really enjoyable. It seemed like there was a bit of caramel and banana in the aftertaste. ectuohy27 (95), New Jersey, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 28, 2010 Highly disappointing...thought it’d be an innovative micro, but it’s just a macro-type beer made by a non-conglomerate. Generic American, flavorless (corn hints, malt hints, hop hints, soap more than a hint.) Damn, should have guessed by the $4.99/6-pack price! Alas... Fevernova (105), Ohio, USA

Aromas of hay, straw, lemon, and light honey. Very light body and some mild sourness and bitterness on the finish. DandyWolfFloyd (364), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA

This is the better bang for your buck. PBR albeit is good considering, Lionshead beats that hands down. The aroma is pleasant a nice caramel, bread, lighlty toasted aroma. The appearance through me a bit. The color is an off golden color, and the head is not all that impressive. The taste is nice and malty, a bit doughy, is there some caramel in there? The feel is way too smooth, could drink the whole case. ben4321 (1232), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Just a drop better then some of the really bad macro lagers, but still not good.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2010 An old college beer for me. Appreciated teh $10 cases back then. Malty sweet aroma with a touch of syrup. Pours a pale yellow color with a slight carbonated head. Has a sweet taste with a decent amount of carbonation. Really this is a micro alternative the light beers, with a better taste than I remembered. The beer just bring back some great college memories. And the picture puzzles under the cap add to the experience as the alcohol sets in. Leafs93 (110), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

This and Carbondale Concrete are forever etched in my memory. Had a couple bottles, and this is a basic beer with a generic taste. A better choice then the typical macros. Surprisingly better then I remembered.
