Currently I am updating my ratebeer with al the beers I drank but was too lazy to rate at the time. I give the scores I gave back than. If I drink the beers again I might re-rate them.

On tap at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Bruxelles. Pours dark brown with beige head. Malts, chocolate, roasty, bit smokey. Medium body.

On tap at Biercab. Dark brown colour with small beige head. Smoked, roasted aroma with some malt. Smoked, roasted taste, slightly malty and sweet. Medium body.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Brune foncée, col épais crémeux beige. Arôme offre un malté et chocolaté modérés un peu trop léger sur une fin pointe grillée et un caramel rappelant ce côté allemand. Palais est malté, léger grillé avec une touche lactose, grains sec et un fini un peu sec qui semble plus me paraître dans un style dry stout que smoked. Malt pâle cara et une pointe de houblons fleuris arrivent en toute fin de bouche. Franchement, je n’ai rien noté en terme de fumé. Est-ce que cette brasserie distribue aux US? faut croire que quasi toutes les notes sont basées en Europe.

Draught @ Christian Firtal, Odense. Pours hazy very dark brown with small light tan head. Sweet, dark aroma of fruit, malt, sherry barrel, and alcohol. Clear, vinous aroma, with notes of fruit and sherry barrel. Warming alcohol presence. Tastes more than its official ABV. Vinous finish. OK

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours dark brown with a small off white head. Peat, caramel, fruit and ashes. Medium to thin Body.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, plum and peat smoke. Malty and fruity flavour, with a roasted note and too much peat...

This sounded promising, but I was disappointed. The biggest problem is that this beer is too sweet, which doesn’t go well with the smoked malt. The honey and chocolate are a weird addition as well, they don’t match. A shame.

Draft to taster. Looks good; a dark cola with light beige lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and chocolate with light smoke. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced. Average on the palate. Started better than it finished.
