Translucent gold with a billowing white head. Sticky resinous medium body with high carbonation.

Aroma: pine needle and citrus rind hops, doughy pilsner type malt, clean yeast.

Taste: grainy malt, citrus rind, herbal hops, sharp minerality, and some lingering bitterness.

I do ot get the grain or spice character of a witbier at all, so not sure what make this a white ipa.

33cl-fles gekregen van schoonbroer Hendrik. Merci! U: Goudblond met grote witte schuimkraag die wat inzakt. G: Citrus, wat metallisch, tarwemout en gist. S: Citrusbitter gecombineerd met een lichte zoetheid. Citrus, gist, sinaasappelzeste, wat tropisch fruit en tarwe. Metallisch in de afdronk. M: Dorstlesser met een stevige carbonatie.

Bottled. Slightly hazy yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, some caramel, mild spicy yeast as well as some herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, some lemongrass, mild herbs as well as some quite dusty yeasty notes.

Flaska. Dimmigt ljusgul öl med ett vitt skum. Dofter och smaker av citron, citronskal, persika, gräs och örter. Försiktig beska, medelstor kropp.

ON bottle from Drinks of the World, Zurich. Hazy pale golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity; hops, citrus, some earthily notes, light peach and fruitiness. Medium body & complexity. Ok bitterness and balance. Enjoyable

Hell hopfiger Beginn von Kräuternoten. Viel zu starke Karbonisierung. Schnell nimmt der Hopfen ab und eine herbe Getreidenote tritt an die gleiche Stelle. Spritzig, süffig, spät wieder ein wenig hopfiger. Rundes Bier, nicht unbedingt sehr IPAig. 8/8/9/9/9/9

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2016 Bottle, from Drinks of the World HB. A pretty standard hoppy IPA. Rather meaty. Some odd aftertastes on to back. I heard this used to be better.

Kurze Review von Untappd: Riecht lagerig und nach Gemüse. Gut bitter, viel Kohlensäure, wenig Malzkörper, recht trocken im Abgang. Keine Fruchtigkeit. Not my IPA!

Pours a hazy yellow with a white head, looking very much like a wheat beer. Fruity citrus aroma. Flavour of citrus, some pine hoppiness. Good bitter finish, but needs a bit more. Pleasant though.
