COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Svrchně kvašené pšeničné pivo s vysokou stálou pěnou. Vaříme ho poctivě, z čerstvých kvasnic, pro které si jezdíme až do Bavorska. Není příliš hořké, zato má neopakovatelnou vůni s jemnými tóny hřebíčku a banánu. Naše pšenice je nefiltrovaná a chmelená natřikrát českými odrůdami chmele. 12 degrees Plato. Brewed in the classic Bavarian style, no longer common among Czech brewers. We use local wheat and pilsner malts, Saaz hops, yeast bartered from a small Bavarian brewery, and well water to brew a unique sample of Bohemian wheat. The beer is lagered for 50 days, and bottled without filtration.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2021 A bajor eleszto elég erőteljesebb ráteszi a lábnyomát és hozza a Bananovy aromat a MurkY muddy testben, ízében Citrusos jellegű gyümölcsök is felleledzenek, kicsit túl szénsavas for me.

martpez (735) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUL 22, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 22, 2021 Labled as unfiltered otherwise same description. Light fizzy wheat beer very much a slavic style (sharp and fresh rather then the sweet and thick German ones). Slight crab apple tang at the end. Decent.

Demens (946) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 12, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2021 0,5l bottle. Hazy yellow colour with long lasting stiff white head. Aroma: Soft banana, biscuit and clove with light funky/yeasty notes. Taste: Has a fresh malty start with significant tarty/citrusy tones and a decent and light bitter. Has a buttery texture. Light body with medium carbonation. Medium lasting tarty and oily/moist finish.

promontor (352) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 3, 2021
UPDATED: JUN 3, 2021 0.5l bottle from Jaromir a Templomhoz. Huge and persistent white head, cloudy orange body. Fresh fruity aroma (mild banana) and some sour bread. Fruity body, mixture of banana, bit of lemon, bubble gum. Moderately yeasty and bitter aftertaste. Mild carbonation, silky palate. Very well balanced, harmonic wheat beer in Bavarian style, much better than the other Czech wheat beers I have tasted so far.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2019 # 97 et 431; 9/2015 et 9/2016. Chuťově docela jednoduchá, málo ovocná (jen trochu banán), silně kvasnicová pšenice.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2019 Not a psenicne you'd expect. Very nice, banana/clove smell. Almost clear, no foam, which is odd for a weizen. The taste is pretty much your average lager with very nice taste of clove, maybe a hint of banana. The body is also low, lager-like. Very odd beer, I can't quite get it, but still I enjoyed it. A separate category of weizen.

Judging by the colour (amber) it should be medium body Hefeweizen, but in fact, you get very drinkable light body beer with almost not existing white head. In aroma, you have pleasant citrus (banana mainly). Good beer with no surprise but sometimes you don't need any surprise.

pityu (911) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 25, 2018
Bottled. Hazy golden colour, thick white durable foam. Yeasty nose with cereals and citrus. Taste of cloves, citrus zest, raw wheat and yeast. Light to medium body, fizzy carbonation, slick texture and a bit acidic finish. Not my favourite, but good.
