Aroma of hops balanced with sweet malt. Slightly cloudy copper color with a white head and good lacing. Flavor is sweet malt balanced with fruity hops and fresh citrus. Very well balanced beer. Nice lingering hoppy character on the palate.

Pours a bubbly gold with a fluffy head that settles to a thin layer. Aroma is piney and floral hops, a touch of citrus and light biscuit/caramel malt. The flavor is a pleasant mix of pine and citrus, light perfume, light biscuit and caramel malts. Light but flavorful. Medium to high carbonation

12 oz can from John’s - Grass aroma, orange color. Oily feel. Overall a pretty good pale ale. And it comes in a can! Where have you been all my concert life?

Aroma is mainly hoppy, with notes of grass, pine and faint citrus. Flavor is a little more subdued in the hop department, but has more malt than the aroma. Overall, a decent session Pale.

12oz. Can: Aroma of caramel malt, hops, pine, grass, and Earth. Poured amber/yellow/gold in color with a large, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Slightly hazy. Not sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of caramel malt, hops, pine, grass, Earth, and citrus. Medium body. Dry texture. Average carbonation. Caramel malt, hop, and Earth finish is dry. A nice APA.

A really great Pale Ale. Nice to crack one of these out on the trail, rather than the usual cheap canned brew. Initially pretty hoppy, but the effect fades the more you drink. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable Pale Ale, bonus points for being in cans!

just about right for a PALE ALE. a good beer in a can is sometimes hard to find. i recommend this if not in the mood for an onslaught of hops which they provide with their IPA :)

A: An amazingly clear, golden pour from can into glass with a fluffy white head that sits on top. S: Just as a pale ale should be: a refreshing citrus aroma with a mild pine to let you know that it still means business. T: Again, a perfect example of a pale ale. A nice clean, refreshing citrus flavor followed by a nice bitter bite on the finish. M: The beer is light and moderately carbonated, but still has a fairly substantial feel on the tongue. D: This must be what Bud is talking about. These guys sure know how to make a great session pale and IPA. I’m glad to see these beers become more easy to come by in CA.
