COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
MMMKay is an India Pale Lager, originally brewed from the second runnings of Aww Jeah. Now, built of its own accord, the nose is a dynamic explosion of hop aromas! The initial fragrances are of bold citrus fruit: guava, orange, and lemon. As the head settles, the aromas shift to fresh evergreen accents. Indicated by the light body and pale yellow appearance, malt was an afterthought, and the focus here would be hops. An array of enjoyable American hop flavors shock the palate ranging from slightly fruity to intense earthy pine. A bold bitterness dominates the finish enhanced by the clean unobtrusive nature of its lager origin.

355ml bottle. Light hazed golden pour. Aroma is farty with soggy herbal grain, tomato plant. Flavor is dry and malty with a bitter piney finish.

Post tasting thoughts:
This was clearly a lager, but fit in overall with the others. A bit too farty for me though it wasn’t universally disliked.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange body. Earthy evergreen hoppy tones. Resinous aftertaste. Kind of a dank, antiquated, unappealing aroma. A unique take on the style, but kind of odd and imperfect too. Not much finesse, kind of sloppy.

Man. This is crushable. I could have 10 pints if it was on tap locally. Really solid flavor and not heavy. Pine and some onion, crisp grass. Just a great hoppy lager.

Bottle. Pours a a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a nice crisp grass and pine combination with a touch of light grain supporting. Flavor has a nice pine note with grass and a touch of onion plus a light grain backbone.

12 oz. bottle. Thanks Willrunforbeer on the share. Hazy golden pour with soft bubbly head. Aroma is huge on grass and floral notes. The flavor has a huge hop profile! Grass, citrus, and pine. The lager yeast and malt bill give a light body and it ends crisp. The bitterness is a tad harsh but not distracting and could have been smoother at a younger age. Yeah, nicely done on this brew.

Bottle via trade. Nose is huge dank and cat piss hop aroma. Very hazy dark yellow to orange. Taste is very grassy to the point of being astringent and pithy. Weird. As I drink more it becomes more tolerable. I don’t really know what to think.

Draft. Light golden body with a frothy, white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, toasted grain, caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A bitter, resin-tasting lager. Notes of lemon, grapefruit peel. Strong bitterness pretty much masks any other flavors.
