UPDATED: FEB 10, 2024 Yellow clear appearance. Slightly spicy. Hoppy flavours dominate. Doesn't stand out as a winter beer but it soon becomes apparent that its subtle warming effect makes it stand out. A good one during any season.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2024 33cl Bottle @ Cerveceria Internacional, Seville, Spain. Brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is malt, yeast, dried fruits. Taste is malt, caramel, yeast, raisins, toffee. Medium body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2023 Dissipating Beigel head left a spotty cover on a dark reddish brown body. Malt, spices & yeasty aroma. Medium full bodied, smooth thinning out to a lightly carbonated clean back. Caramel, toffee, spices, malt - raisin tastes with a fruity finish. Easy going.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2023 From tap. Bit nutty, spicy, caramel. Dark malt, toffee. Sweet flavour, light bitter. Body is medium. Not bad, some nice nutty notes.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2022 Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. pours a deep chestnut colour with a thin off-white head. Aromas of red berries and some caramel. Taste has more red berries, sweet jam, candied sugar and some toffee and caramel. Sweet but fairly well balanced. Medium body with average carbonation. Not bad at all and quite festive.

Aroma of caramel, syrup, raisin, Coca-Cola, candied orange, spices. Taste has sweet raisin, ripe pear & pear syrup, some orange peel in a caramelly, sugary malt body. Herbal hoppy finish, spicy aniseed yet vaguely toasty too, more caramel, candied fruit and warming herbal liqueur-like alcohol. Medium body, syrupy texture, average carbonation. Poorly balanced but still okay to drink.

Taste; amber malts, dark plum compot, fudge, toffeeffee, prune, nut oil fudge, dark rye bread, chocolate note, and soft dark fine malted finish. Feel; good body and fine co².
