This tastes like I just bit into a fresh hop, unlike other fresh hop beers. The finish isn’t as lingering as I was expecting nickspies (77), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Orange to light brown with good lacing. Somewhat over-hopped flavor, but not like some IPAs can be...a hint of sweetness. Good mouthfeel. hophead75 (1985), Boonton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 15, 2007 Updated: Nov 16, 200722 oz. Pours clear amber in color with a small but long lasting white head. Aroma is great, heavy resinous/fresh citrus with some pine. Taste is not as potent as the aroma, with a good deal of malty sweetness/caramel and hop character a bit more subdued. Still a moderate amount of leafy/herbal hop character. Full bodied for the abv and style- a nice beer, but I was hoping for more of a bright hop character than I got in this. mvcramer (231), Arlington, Massachusetts, USA

Good beer but not much different from other American IPA’s brewed by wonderful American craft brewers. Stood up well to spicy buffalo wings that I was eating, but is just like many others out there. Strong hop smack on the aroma and overpowering hop flavor that is not at all balanced in the overall drinking experience. I love the guys at Left Hand - I just usually find that there is little within this style to distinguish oneself. Thanks to the good folks at Cambridge Common for getting this one on draft. Nose had a citrus character with a faint hint of malt. Full bodied mouthfell with a slightly tart finish. This makes it incredibly easy to drink. RiverHorse (457), New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Pours a thick, cloudy orange color into the snifter with a big creamy white head. The scent was flowery, grapefruit and hops. A nice clean taste with big hops and slightly bitter finish with the warrior hops making themselves known. A very nice IPA. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA

Golden amber color with a foamy tan head. Flavor is grass, hay, hops, with some citrus and a bitter finish. Palate is lightly creamy to slighty watery with mild carbonation. Good IPA. Not overdone or overly intense.
