UPDATED: JAN 26, 2022 Backlog November 2017. Clear, deep amber body, almost black under a nice, lacing, dense beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt with chocolate, coffee and warming alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with coffee, chocolate and warming alcohol. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice porter.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2019 2012 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is very oxidized, with bready malt, toasted caramel and sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is very malty, with bready malt, toasted caramel, wood, and booze. A little harsh and slightly oxidized, but it works.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2019 33 cl bottle @ Kievari Kahdet Kasvot. 2012 vintage. BBE 12/2014. Pours dark brown color with a medium sized beige head, leaves a nice lasting lace. Malty aroma with subtle spice notes, caramel, some nutty character, strong licorice, faint ripe fruit notes on the background. Flavor is bitter malty, caramel and ripe fruit sweetness, again strong licorice, cocoa tones, very faint coffee tones. Carbonation is still quite decent here, maybe some slightly stuffy cellar-y coat masking some nuances but overall quite good. 3425
