bottle, at the bar about 20 metres from assistens kiekegarden, the name of which escapes me. anyways, big grapefruit and pine aroma; plenty of zesty citrus with some apricot lingering in the background and considerable bitterness

draught@Erzbierschof - cloudy dark orange beer under a persistent white foam; nice lacework; fairly hoppy with fruity notes of peaches and quince, notes of cream; a good malt backbone, light sweetness below; creamy palate and long hoppy fruity (peaches, apricot and mango) aftertaste; lingering bitterness- balanced and well-crafted

Keg at Craft Islington. Pale orange golden colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is fruity, lightly herbal. Interesting. Taste is good, very fruity, tropical, lychee, with bitterness at the end. Touch of caramel. Lightly spritzy. Really tasty. Quite dry and crisp.

Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Clear amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish with fine carbonation. Smooth creamy malt plays host to somewhat insipid tropical fruits. Light lactose. Smooth finish with light bitter linger. This tastes like it was a good ipa that has been left for several months. Not saying that it what happened, just that it was what it tasted like. Inoffensive but quite a let down.

Tap at the Cask, Pimlico, 30/08/13. Pale golden amber with a thin white head. Nose is toasted malts, citrus fruit, orange, a little chemical smelling. Taste comprises earthy hops, grass, grapefruit, orange pith, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with hop bitterness. Average APA - seemed a little washed out !

Scopey (24178) - Oldmeldrum, SCOTLAND - AUG 30, 2013
Keg at CASK, Pimlico. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, passion fruit, earth, varnish, solvents and marmalade. The taste is crisp, grassy, spice, lemon pith, grapefruit, high bitterness, light caramel and resin with a very dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth, but smells nice. Alright.

Keg. Two tone hazy orange with a foamy white head. Nice sweet caramelly IPA with citrus and pine notes. Medium body and spritzy carbonation. Initially drinks very well but later on the flavour seems thin. Drinkable, decent IPA.
