3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The thing I noticed most about this beer was that it has a nutty taste. The hops are piney and somewhat herbal. There’s a good citrus nose. But I think there’s a hazelnut flavor beneath all the hop layers. It’s not bad, just a little distracting for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg at Against The Grain, Dublin. It pours a clean amber color with a small white head. Aroma is big fresh citric and piny hops, with notes of grapefruit skin, tangerine pine cones, caramel and grass. Taste is medium hoppy and citric, piny, crispy, with notes of grapefruit, pine cones, citrus peel and caramel. Light dank flavours with a leafy finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, very good IPA

Fizzy and hoppy, like an IPA should be. On tap at the Brew Dock in Dublin. A scent of citrus too.

An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, fresh hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Review based on bttle and draft. Pours hazy amber. Good nose with lots of hop, not bitter and there is a residual sweetness that is sticky. It is a good IPA but not within best of style. Having said this I still buy this on a regular basis but there are so many IPA to try you cannot help but compare to others. Foam and Fury from the same brewery is outstanding.

(50 cl bottle from Bradley’s Off-license, Cork; BBD: May 7th 2015; Lot: 084) Pours a hazy amber with little, white head and big bubbles that fade. Aroma is hoppy with notes of pine and grass. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a dry, crisp finish. Flavour is aromatically bitter. Decent.
