Big Dog IPA–on tap-pours a rich light tan head and cloudy amber color. Aroma is pine/grapefruit, sweet medium malt. Taste is pine/citrus-orange/pineapple/grapefruit/resin hops, sweet medium malt-roasty. Medium/full body. Soft carbonation.

Draft @ Brew Brothers El Dorado. Pours a murky, pulpy orange-golden color; bright, seemingly unfiltered; glistening, fine-bubbled lacing. Dense, chewy citrus and orange and earthy bitterness in the nose; oily; minimal astringency; a great nose. Loads of hop flavor and bitterness, following the nose. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy oranges, light-to-medium citrus acidity, earthy bitterness; a dense, chewy, generous and beautifully put-together IPA. In a casino. Wtf? It’s like I’m not even rating the same beer...maybe the same as KP. Lengthy finish, with a nice show of toasty malts, candy sugar, and lasting orange-tinged bitterness.

Poured a nice golden amber with a small white head. A slight bitter hoppiness, but nothing too intense. Makes for a very smooth taste without the distinct character that an IPA should have. It’s drinkable and tasty, but not too complex. Pretty solid.

A golden amber IPA with a thin lacing white head. A distinct pleasant citrusy, floral hops, very west coast. In mouth, a goos hops and caramel malt balance, light solvent notes. Medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, August 2007.

On tap at the brewpub. The body was dark copper with an off white head. The aroma was present grapefruit and almonds. The flavors were about the same, more grapefruit and almonds. Actually, this was decent.

Draft Burnt copper color with an ivory head slight grapfruit nose. grassy and oxydized. I can’t believe their serving this. I’ll have to rerate this sometime.

On tap poured a light amber color with decent white head. Aroma was sweet floral hops with caramel. Flavor was mor a a pale than an IPA with mild bitterness and maltiness.
