Pours out a pink to red color with zero head to speak of. Smells very fruity, not unlike a wine, but with a strong cherry note. Tastes very fruity, and is all malt and cherries.

750 mL bottle. (2002 vintage - thanks radiomgb). Wow. What a unique brew. Cherries, apple, and spice in the nose. Flavour is much the same - a little sweet, but with a lovely genuine cherry flavour. No hint of Unibroue yeast. Low carbonation, but seems appropriate. May also be a product of the aging. Great warm, too!

Bottle. Pours a red body with a thin bubbly head, or not so much. Serve hot shit i didn’t do that. Berries, cherries, and some light woodiness. Sweet, beer very sweet with a lightly medicinal warming. Eh, okay, not their best.

Bottled (thanks to whoever I got this fro.). Reddish amber colour, not much head. Aroma is semisour cherries witth some caramel and mild acidic notes. Flavvour is cherries, wood, some mild spices and some sweetih notes, I am actually lost for words on this thing. So much more I could describe, but enormously close to really love lambics....

Deep ruby color, no head. Tart cherry aroma, a bit like Vermuth. Liquerish palate. Cherry, vanilla, candy ... delicious and mellow dessert beer. Some tartness also in the flavor. Excellent.

A: Pours a nice dark reddish burgundy color, a wine like appearance. There was little to no bubbles and no lacing. S: Wonderful. The cherries power thru and you can get whiffs of the cherries, cloves and cinnamon. Man is this one beautiful. T: We had it cold, but man is this one awesome brew. My buddy has hated every beer I have put in front of him no matter how good it was. He is kind of a wine geek. But this brew he was blown away by it. He was begging for more when the bottle was empty. As for myself, man did I love this one. Huge taste that was sooo very complex. My beer guy is asking an arm and a leg for this one, but I will pick up a few more bottles no doubt about it. M: Nice and light. The sweetness helps it to drink like a fine wine.

A really nice brew. Cherry with a whole lot of spice on the nose and in the taste (some cinnamon, nitmeg, perhaps coriander?) Reminds me of chistmas. Very low carbonation this time around (2002 bottle). Very nice balance beer. Not too sweet nor too sour. A very unique brew that I really enjoy. Would seek it out.

Red pour. Aroma is exactly like a spiced cherry cider. And the flavor is too. sweet as hell. I kind of wondered why I wasn’t drinking this warm and then I read the litle pamphlet that it came with and it said you can drink it warm!
