Tastes almost like a tripel... Banana, clove and ripe citrus. Some residual sweetness on the finish. Very clear orange-yellow with a great white head.

bottle poured a light golden in color with fizzy cracking carbonation and a thin white head. aroma has house yeast, banana, sweetness, and some light fruit. light mouth feel with froth from the carbonation. flavor has pale malt, yeast, some grain, and a bite of alcohol at the finish.

Another great one from unibroue, even though their from quebec, a bruins fan worst enemy, anyways, really good belgian strong ale that this brewer is quickly becoming famous for. the way the abv is hidden from the taste is maybe the best thing about it, anyone who like BSA’s will know the taste but there are a few out there that have the abv bite that can ruin a good beer, not this, smooth as silk

341 ml bottle from the kick off in waterloo. pours murky golden with a persistant beige head. aroma of aged pale malt with cellared unibroue yeast aspects showing as well. nice forward pale malt body, some dusty old fruitiness with lingering yeasty twang. really enjoyable. no idea how old the bottle was but id say it was minimum 2 years. i wish this one was availible locally.

12oz bottle. Murky yellow-gold pour with a small but sturdy white head. Sweet aroma of banana, apple and wheat. Citrus flavor - peach and apricot with ginger and a salty vibe. Light to medium palate. Finishes with a lemony bitterness. Overall clean and tasty.

more light in body but a busy brew as it has a good accompanying carbonation and frothy substantive head. sweet and spicy as one would expect this beer is doughy and a touch grainy. some berry and lemon lime citrus with a bitter hop finish that is far from pronounced. alcohol available and brew is almost balanced.

Belgian golden orange opaque colour. Foamy whitish head. Complex and satisfying with sweet and mild spices, and a bit of refreshing citrus at the end. Great brew.
