UPDATED: JUN 21, 2013 Bottle at home from drinkstore
Dark hazy ruby amber with fluffy magnolia head that collapses to a lacing. Rich meaty caramel, nutmeg and banana yeast esters on the nose. Medium body and carbonation. Banana up front then clove phenols, candy sugar sweetness and vegetal hop bitterness. There’s some citrus and plenty more candi sugar to finish. Interesting to single hop a yeast led beer. Its kinda a tripel dubbel cross. Look forward to trying what these guys do next.

Reminded me a little of Chimay(a lighter version), decent beer, little lighter than i thought it was going to be, hazy brown colour, floral aromas, hints of bread, biscuit, banana maybe? I’ll revisit this one again, did enjoy it.

On tap in wj kavanaghs. Served in a brandy glass. Shame, because i’d have loved a pint glass but anyhooo....it has a beautiful, sweet malty aroma, like a good triple but with hops. Flavourwise, it has a good level of bitterness without losing that malty belgian triple feel. Its a really good beer, and considering its their 1st attempt at a commercial beer they should be very proud of it

330ml bottle from Deveneys. Copper/Amber pour with a nice off white, tight, slightly creamy head which doesnt last too long, settles to some spots floating on the surface. Aroma is glace cherry, perfume, some floral notes, dates, a touch of caramel, some molasses and some summer fruits. Lovely. Taste is sweet at first, sugary fruits, rising to a tart bitterness towards the end, along with some spicy (coriander) notes. The hop bitterness lends this one some real character. Smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite light in body despite the ABV, which isnt apparent. Very good.

Draught at LMG, Dublin. Pours lovely hazy red with thin white-ish head, not much lacing. Aroma is sweet candi sugar, caramel, light red fruits, yeast, spices, banana, clove. Taste follows suit with a sweet hit of candi sugar followed by an interesting array of fruits: cherries, banana, melon, slight peach. The unmistakenly belgian yeast note adds a spicy bit of complexity to proceedings - all fits together well. Touch of booze warmth as it goes down, but a lovely fruity tang lasts long into the aftertaste. This is an interesting little concoction - not half bad for a pilot brew, hope there's more to come from these guys.

On tap at L Mulligan Grocer. Appearance: Served in a brandy snifter. Ruby red, thick, creamy off white head. Aroma: tons of yeast, banana, cloves, malt, a little spice. Flavour: Creamy mouthfeel turning to a bitter & yeasty flavour, tons of malt with a good hop profile, the alcohol is a little evident with a quick spicy and hoppy finish. Quite good.
