COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Can and bottle: Filtered Moosehead Pale Ale was our first beer to be branded Moosehead. ‘Moose Red,’ as it is referred to in the Maritimes, has a recipe dating back to 1931 and has a loyal following. A true top-fermented ale, Moosehead Pale Ale is medium bodied and fermented at warmer temperatures to impart its floral aromatics.

Zlotta (8944) - Hagen, GERMANY - MAR 4, 2024
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2024 0.355 l can from the brewery's German web shop. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, a bit fruity-floral and a little musty aroma of peach and some grains. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral, a bit grassy and a little musty taste of grains, straw, some peach and hints of iron, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Unbelievably bland, not even flawless, overall fairly bad.

brexitgiftshop (302) - GERMANY - SEP 7, 2022
UPDATED: SEP 7, 2022 Golden pils colour, fruity nose. IPA? Rather sweet tasting initial before some bitterness comes through but always a malty backbone. Decent carbonation, quite creamy. Oily tasting afterwards though. Weird IPA! Tastes like bog-standard pils/lager or even Helles to me. One dimensional taste. Way too sweet - I guess it's called a pale ale but nonetheless, just tastes like commercial German pils. Meh! Best avoided. Disappointing!

UPDATED: JUL 22, 2022 Ty VastActiv. Lõhn ja maitse: magus, seebine, linnaseline. Millegagi väga silma ei paista... joodavish.

FatPhil (26061) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUL 8, 2022
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2022 350ml bottle - thanks VastActiv! (4:3:4-:2:7=2.0-) Pale amber, brief head. Very sweet caramelly, almost diacetyl-esque, strong macro lager aroma. 'Ale' - yeah, right. Sweet lagery taste too. Slickish palate. Nasty non-ale thing. Overrate, surely. more like 1.9 or 1.8.

minutemat (14656) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2021 Sample thanks to Grumbo. Cheers mate. Misty gold with floating sediment. Bitter malt nose, caramel, indistinct hop. Taste brings a blonde ale yeastiness, softly fruity, grassy hop, softly sweet, light carbonation. Ok.
