UPDATED: APR 27, 2021 This is a backlog rating from 2008 from a bottle, from notes. When I had this beer it was average to below average for the style and not something I wanted to have again or I just didn't get back to my notes because of my technology at the time, work and/or family. Words to describe this beer are sweet malts, caramel, yeast, fruity, pear, citrus, decent.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2020 Bottle tasted Appearance Light gold color with high structured fluffy white head. Floral and malty to the nose. Floral hops bready with toffee malts with typical yeast aromas stone and dry fruits with spices (cloves anis cumin vanilla) a slight alcohol warmth present on the palate the metallic is tastable with first pours. A heavy body with medium carbonation bringing a nice roundness on the palate. The flavor are also well balanced and the beer finishes sweet with a alcohol warmth going down the stomach with an acid bitter aftertaste. Overall well balanced and enjoyable recipe.

Bottle @ Ghent. Clear colour, white foam. Sweet malts, some fruity notes, pretty oxidized, metallic. Not very nice.

Very strong blond beer in a humoristic bottle. Excellent mixture of bitter and sweet taste.

Bottle 33cl at Lars'. Poured yellow blond, large frothy head. Aroma is standard. Some flowers, some grass, hay. Taste has honey, grass, a bit fruit as well.
