wlajwl (12649) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 22, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2023 Aroma is a complex mix of cucumbers, fruit, tropical fruit and mild sweetness. The flavor is fruit/cucumbers, tropical fruit, malts and a mildly sweet/tart finish.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2022 Can shared at Rowan. Well, I didn’t check and thus at the time of drinking I wasn’t aware that there was cucumber flavouring in this, therefore I actually enjoyed it. Shit happens I guess.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2022 Can pour, light gold. Dry chalky aroma. Tart up front with notes of cucumber, lime juice and a delicious wheat and oat finish.

ChainGangGuy (5787) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JAN 2, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 Appearance: Pours a light hay-hued body, nearly clear, with a steadily evaporating, white head. Smell: Meager, modest grains, some faux sourish citrus. Restrained cucumber. Its sourish, funky characteristics are particularly subdued, so it presents only a modest pickle aroma. Taste: Lightly sweet, lightly grainy, then, a perceived hint of citrus acidity. It's a very lightly sourish sour with a cucumber flavoring that, while likely artificial, is not altogether unpleasant. Also, it's a swift taste, here for a brief moment, then gone. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-light carbonation. Overall: I don't mind the occasional pickle, but I do not like raw cucumber, finding but the taste, smell and texture to be rather unappealing. So it is that this beer only made it into my home, my sanctuary alongside its brethren within the Beers of Cheer 24-pack. And even then, I've reached for nearly all of the others, leaving this one to sit because, well, cucumber. Ultimately, it's like a mild, lager-like ale dosed with a bit of lactic acid and cucumber flavor. Even then, I don't mind the thing...

nick76 (4699) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 4, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2021 Beers of Cheer holiday gift pack. The aroma is citrusy and corn like with a cucumber salad quality. The appearance is pale gold with a thin head. The taste is like the aroma and it has a bit of sourness but it's more on the sweet side than the sour side. The palate is thin. Overall not as bad as I expected but, it's not like a Berliner Weisse.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2021 Pale yellow color pour with a thin white head. Bright. Refreshing sour. Sour on the nose. Cucumber upfront with start finish.

igneous1 (1580) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAR 12, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2021 12oz can as part of a 12 pack mixer from Albertson's at Meridian & Cherry. Lightly hazy pale golden color. Off-white decent sized head, diminished quickly. Frankly, not much to the aroma, little bit grassy and very little else. Flavor is nice and tart, seems a bit artificial and frankly don't pick up much cucumber. Kind of refreshing, but disappointing given its high rating.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2020 Though I suppose I'm in the minority here, I have a hard time thinking of a beer I like better than this one. Say what you want about my taste. It's endlessly refreshing. The sour hits you up front, followed closely by the cucumber (artificial, but I'm not bothered), and then finally the wheat. No matter how many times I have it, a simple sip puts a smile on my face, and that's more than I can say for even some of my other favorites.
