500 mL growler. Originally reviewed 8/5/2013. Inky black. Decent mocha head. Medium collar. Rich chocolate aroma. Whiskey. A little peaty. Boozy. Whiskey dominates the nose. Whiskey flavor is less dominant. Rich dark chocolate. Scotch-like whiskey. Oaky. Slightly sharp finish from the whiskey. Thick. Medium low carbonation. Boozy. Pretty good, though I prefer the bourbon barrel to this. Not infected though!

Palme (5036) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2014
On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. A really nice smoking and almost dark fruity Bourbon-like nose. Really nice. It has a deep and dark near black body but not much of a head really. Just some translucent bubbles at the sides of the glass. In the mouth it’s dark chocolaty, beautiful vanilla brand. There’s wood and it has a nice gliding oily mouthfeel. Only prickling bubbles. Oh. yeah, I really really liked this. Chocolate, vanilla and rye spiciness in the back. Wish I had better time just enjoying this. 03.05.2014
