pivnizub (12929) - Bochum, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2015Tap(RBESG2014): Deep amber coloured with a reddish sheen, small lacy off-white head; quite distinctive roasty and herbal-hoppy nose; moderate dry bitter flavour, quite light bodied; mild herbal-hoppy finish, dark malt or caramel barely detectable. Good, but not my cup of tea…
Martinus (5018) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - MAR 12, 2015Brown colour, white head. Aroma of malts and hops, lots of hops. Pineapple, tropical fruits and citrus. Hoppy flavour, bitter, malts, light chocolate. Light bodied, as could be expected. Finish chocolate and hops. Nice!

Stuu666 (28626) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 2, 2015Keg at the hanging bat. Pours black, taste is chocolate roast, light fruit, dry, bitter.
wheresthepath (3441) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2015Bottle from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. Slightly murky dark brown with a light fizz and a huge, craggy beige head - took some time to fit it in the glass. Great whiff- flowers, chocolate, pine and tinned mandarins. Huge hoppy bitterness up front on tasting, then more pine, burnt malt, those mandarins again, a little spice and a bourbon biscuit finish. The body is better than you’d expect for a beer of this strength. Surprising burst of sweet lime on the finish. Impressive complexity for a beer with such a low ABV; just a little too bitter for my taste, perhaps, but I rather enjoyed it nevertheless.
davidtjm (1074) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 18, 2015Bottle. Pour is black with a humongous caramel head, aroma, is toffee, caramel, fruity. Taste is toffee, coffee, bitterness. I wouldn’t have guessed the alcohol level, nice one

rosenbergh (14034) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 2, 2014330 ml bottle. #239. BB 08/01/15. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Black colour with a big foamy off-white head.
The aroma is rich with dry hops, mild bitterness, cocoa powder, tobacco and milk chocolate. The flavour is also very interesting with hoppy dryness and moderate bitterness, malt, citrus, mild tobacco and roasty darkness. Quite nice. Extremely tasty for a 2.9% brew. It’s quite obvious it’s a bit thin.
JefVerstraete (7051) - BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2014Tap @ Southern, Edinburgh. Black colour, some beige foam. Medium carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts with some coffee. Fruity notes also. Hoppy aftertaste. Good for this low ABV.
