Clear yellow pour with lots of carbonation, white film of a head. Aroma of pee, corn, and grassy hops. Grainy, flabby, sweet flavor. No real body to speak of and a suprising lack of crisp carbonation. A pretty big turd of beer.

Bottle at Arriba Arriba Mexican restaurant. Light beer, crisp and refreshing. Not much flavor going on, decent with food and lime. Reminded me of Pacifo a bit.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a short lived white head, over a clear, pale yellow (SRM 2-3) body.....nose is cereal and a bit of bread, with a hint of ginger ale.....taste is present but so light it is hard to describe, sort of a carbonated cereal....mouth feel is very light and watery, carbonation dominates with its fizzy sensation and dominates any attempt at flavor. An almost unique pale lager, that comes closer to being a seltzer than I would have thought possible.

Several trips to Mexico over the years and I never had this beer. Total HO-hum pale lager, no aroma, foamy big bubbled head, stripped down pale lager. Obviously could use a crutch, like a bunch of lemons and limes.

Now this is Mexican beer! Served at various taquerias in San Francisco, this is the most refreshing beer to order with Mexican food. Don’t think Corona....think Pacifico or Tecate, but good! Great lager flavor and quite refreshing.

Smells a bit like cereal and feet. Yellow amber that doesn’t impress. Palate is light all around. Overall it is smoother with a cleaner finish than most Mexican beers.

No aroma. Clear light yelliow, no head. Watery with light hints of vanilla. One of the weakest beers I’ve had. Mexico’s answer to Milwaukee’s Best.

Tastes great with mexican food. Tastes like fizzy water without it. Forget Carta Blanca....you might as well call it Coors Budweiser...but slightly better. I’m sure location has more to do with the impression of this pale lager than the actual flavor....I’m sure it would taste awesome on a warm sunny beach in Mexico with a plateful of taquitos. In this instance, location is everything.

Bottle at the local Mexican restaurant. Yellow, fizzy. Great beer to drink with Mexican food and goes down easy. Not bad.
