Bland, faint aroma with hints of amonia. Small, white head; fully diminishing. Particalia visible...in a Mexican lager?!? Good malt flavor with some crispness. However, I detect a hint of oxidation; the age of this brew is now in question. Some hops in the finish. Not bad but the particalia is throwing me off. At 6% ABV, packs a punch for a pale lager. joemacaluso (119), Prairieville, Louisiana, USA

It lacks character and it was boring to drink and rate. Its appearance was that of a medium white creamy head that contained fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was clear and uncarbonated with a golden hue.The nose was malty as was the flavor. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and this beer's lacing was fair. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | May 6, 2006 Typical corniness story-doesnt have the nice bready, funky wheat flavor most mexican or south american pale lagers have. this just tastes like dusty us macro. ive heard good things about this but either i got an old batch or the stories were wrong. sweet corn all around with watery palate. the 6% is hard to believe too. topherh (1045), Kearney, Missouri, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Bottle: What can I say about this? It pours a golden ale color with a foamy white head, tastes like corn and grain, and has a typical pale lager finish. Certainly nothing worth seeking out. sanmiguel (118), Illinois, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Aug 31, 2006 Bottled. No odor detected. It was ever so bland like many other lagers, but it had a weird blood aftertaste. Not a good beer.
