It pour an amber colour with a white head that doesnt last, It smells good, im getting a earthy woody smell with a hint of bread. I would say the hoppiness comes out but its well balanced too, there are sweet notes with a dry finish. Palate wise..the body is medium with an oily texture, the carbonation is average and the finish is long. A lovely beer!

Bottle shared at a private tasting. Pours a clear copper with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus and candied citrus. The taste is citrus, tropical hops, mild pale malt. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness.

A good beer so it is. Thin head so it was. Nicely hopped so it is. Smelled lovely so it did. Bought at Emersons in Armagh so it was. Get yer sens there so you should. They have siren, tiny rebel, wild beer co, foreign, local, so they do.

Grapefruit and more grapefruit. Lovely aroma with a balanced taste all the way through till the end. A real nice Irish brewed Ipa that would be up there with any from USA

12oz bottle. Pours a caramel gold into the tulip glass. Medium off white head that dissipates after awhile, some lacing on the glass. Big tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit, floral. Taste is that with a caramel malt backbone. Good mouthfeel, but can be a bit too sweet. Overall excellent IPA and one that I am very glad to have tried.

Pint draught in Farringtons, Dublin. No mistaking the American hops on this one. Nice big hop aromas, doesn’t taste it’s 7 per cent. This is a very nice ipa, not very bitter tho, holds back also on the malt. But if this is in a bar, the same bar as you, you will do an awful lot worse than this as your pint of choice

Bottle from Hanlon’s Garage, Longford [070714] New 5.8% version
Nose of soft tangerine, soft tropical fruit, sweet orange....taste of citrus zest, orange fruits, bitter zest, soft carb, medium body. Finish as main flavour, bit dry, some dry bitter dull zest...doesn’t have the depth the flavour as the last bottle I tried and not as good but it’s still a nice beer 3.5

Bottle from Dicey Reillys, Ballyshannon [090414] BBE 30/03/14 8/4/8/4/15 3.9
Dark orange, bit hazy, bubbly white head, touch of lacing
Aroma - Very fruity, sweet tropical fruits, tangerines, sweet fruity malts, surprised it’s this fruity despite being just out of date
Taste as aroma, sweet fruits, tangerine, tropical fruits, some soft bitter orange, dab of grapefruit, some mellow zesty hop, sweet fruity malts, really good fruity IPA, hardly getting much alcohol
Palate - soft carb, medium body, oily, fairly sweet palate, some bitter zest in the background. Finish - some more bitter orange zest come out
Overall - A really well made IPA...this is really good considering its out of date! Must try this when fresh

Pours cloudy amber, wispy head, nice lacing. Big fruity nose orange, mango, peach, Pines with some spice. Lovely aroma. Flavour is fruity bread. Body is Medium, but is a little bit of watery finish. This just let?s it down a bit in my book. The abv is managed really well and it?s good to see a good strength in an Irish beer. Bitterness is lasting on finish without being abrasive. This is a really good clean crisp ale. Exciting.
