Hard to imagine a worse looking beer. Straw yellow and no head or carbonation. Pale water and corn tastes. Wld prefer a Corona which is saying something. Very very bland.

A good Mexican beer for the price. Much like the typical American lager, but with more flavour. Not the best Mexican in my opinion, but better than Corona for a macro.

Been drinking a lot of mexican beer lately, because I’m going to Texas soon near the Mexican bourder and I thought I’d get a taste of what’s to come. Tecate is kind of ehh....like most mexican beers. Little more refreshing than the Carona or Sol. Dos Equis Amber would probably be my favorite mas produced Mexican beer, but this one is OK. Nothing special just marco-corn beer.

The best of the Mexican beers. Best really cold and with a touch of lime.

Pours yellow, smells and tastes like a regular beer. It is pretty much a Mexican Budweiser. Nothing much to the aroma and the flavor isn’t much more complex, but I didn’t think it was all that bad.

Canette 473ml. De couleur jaune et claire. Nez de grains de malt pâle léger avec des notes de maïs sucré, de houblon herbeux (foin) ainsi que des traces fruitées (citron et pommes). Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-fort ainsi qu une texture aqueuse et aux petites notes huileuses. Léger goût de grains de malt pâle avec de faibles traces fruitées (citron) lors de lentrée en bouche suivi de petites notes de maïs sucré puis en finale lon retrouve des traces de houblon herbeux (foin). Post-goût court caractérisé par des notes herbeuses (foin).

I’ll rate this as a daily drinker. Hard for me to give this ole std. a poor rating. As a Texan, I’ve been drinking it since high school. Admittedly it taste like complete ass on it’s own but w/ a lime and salt, it’s a solid daily drinker. Having said that, an old shoe taste good with lime and salt.

Can, every time I’ve ordered it. This is probably not the best beer in the world, but I will choose this over Corona or modelo especial at any central and south american restaurant. A decent beer to pair with food that has a very pronounced and dominant flavor, like anything flavor with chilies and cumin.
