Ale ist ein obergäriges Bier nach englischen Rezept gebraut mit einem feinen Malzaroma und einem Hauch von Hopfen. Eher leicht und ziemlich süffig.
UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 on tap at basler herbstmesse, also at basler biermarkt. pours a hazy orange with a steady white head. aroma of tangerine, mango, spruce. flavour of spruce, grapefruit zest. short finish. a bit watery.
Had a fresh rendition of this on tap @3. Basler Biermarkt 2015, simply called "Pale ale", at about the same strength - no need to enter this as Arlibräu Pale Ale, I suppose. - Sweetflowery aromas anchor this firmly within a UK traditional interpretation of an ale, while managing to be both mild-watery and creamy. Flourishes of sweet tangerine and rose petals over a lovely sweet nothing. Pleasant enough brewpub ale.
from bieronlineshop.ch - dark amber-orange beer under a long lasting and creamy pale beige foam; the aroma is gently yeasty and flower<; fizzy and medium-bodied, creamy palate, more flowery notes in the finish, no bitterness and no character either
