Yet again from Lvivske, a nicely hopped pale lager, with malts and fine hops in the aroma and flavor. The flavor feels sort of hop-driven, where pale malts and fruits are in the background. Bitter finish with fruityness and some metallic hints. Really dry mouthfeel, medium body. 090829 gunnfryd (3862), Kristiansand, Norway

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Bottle. This beer is almost flat with a thin, disappearing, white head. The colour is pale, straw yellow; head is settling now, not completely gone. Aroma of wet corn with some more pleasant lemon, butter and grass hiding behind. The mouthfeel is quite thin. I taste faint malt, grain, grass in the hops, lemon in the finish. Papillon (222), Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 9, 2009 500 mL Bottle. Straw body with a foamy-bubbly white head that settles to a thin ring, a bit of spotty lacing. Aroma of light malt, grains, grass with fruity-floral notes and a hint of yeast. Flavor of light malt, grass, hint of lemon, hops come through in the aftertaste without assaulting the senses. Nice clean finish. A Northern summer beer. I’ll take this one to a summer picnic. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 26, 2009 500ml bottle purchased at a kiosk near the painted panorama site in Sevastopol. Fragile white head on top of a golden body with brilliant clarity. Fresh smell of grass. The taste is a partial successful mix of grain, mild lemon and hay and leaving with a dry ending. Rather foamy in the mouth. Medium to thin bodied (12.07.2009). MrRoss (621), Delta, British Columbia, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 An average "iron curtain" lager; not terrible but not especially good either. This one poured a clear gold colour with a small white head, and no carbonation of note. The aroma seemed to balance hops and malt. Taste was acceptable but not noteworthy, being that of just a basic lager.
