Bottle. Pour is light clear copper. White head. Aroma is not much; light malt mostly with a touch of hop. Flavor is smooth and so much lighter than I remember. Its really a pretty light malt and faint hop flavor.

In a mug at Iron Mike’s. Rich amber color with a minimal head formation. Smells faintly of bitter hops/caramel. The taste is disappointing, very bland caramel hints coupled with an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. Tastes skunky to me. Nothing special here.

On draught from a shaker. Pours red...big surprise. Has a small creamy tan head. Taste is very cereal, very little hop character. To be honest, it tastes somewhat like a standard lager met a bit of food coloring. Mouthfeel is a little light and empty. Sorry, I don’t really have too much to objectively add about this beer...maybe there just really isn’t that much to it.

My first rating, so be kind... From my user name, you must know this is my regular beer. Surprisingly, though, rating this as objectively as I could, it didn’t fare as well as I had thought, which means I was more objective than I thought I could be or harsher than I should have been. You decide. Nice red color and carbonation, but small, short head. Aroma was a nice balance of hops and malt. Light bitterness that transitions to a pleasant aftertaste. Light to medium body, nice finish, average for this price range. Overall a decent beer for the cost.

Bottle at a local. Pours a short lived off white head, over a clear, pale amber (SRM 7) body...nose is slight biscuit, cereal.....taste is minimal malt, no caramel, slight bitterness....mouth feel is watery, carbonation low. This misses most of the characteristics of an Irish Red, so calling it an American Dark Lager probably makes sense. BJCP 5/2/8/3/5

12oz bottle. Pours a deep amber with not much head to speak of. Smell is a bit barnyard-y with hints of sweet grass and hay. Taste lives up to the smell. Very balanced between hops and malt with neither sticking it’s head out at all. A passable beer, but nothing special.

Bottle. A - Redish, amber brown. Decent sized beige tan head that goes down fast with really no lacing. S - Light and almost not there. Faint caramel and grainy malt. T - Some faint caramel malts with a bit of grain taste. A little grassy and earthy hop flavor. Mostly a lighter malty beer with a little hop and some grain. M - Pretty light bodied and medium carbonation. Fairly watery feel. D - Easy to drink and flavors aren’t bad, they just don’t grow and improve. Notes: Alright beer that is easy to drink and a step up from the traditional light adjunct lager. Middle of the road for a Craft-like Macro offering. Not bad just nothing special.

Pours red with a thin white head. Light aroma of mildew and adjucts. Dry mouthfeel with a bitter, cherry candy taste (the cheap cherry candy with no brand name that’s not so good at first but you get used to it). Finish is minimal with what might be a very subtle hop character, but it might just be wishful thinking.
