Jul 14, 2009 Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Grassy hops aroma with light malt underneath. Light to bedium body with flavors of yeast, grass, hops and malt. The finish is earthy malt and yeast with a mild hops flavor left over. Above average overall.

Jul 14, 2009 12oz bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a big white head. Lager yeast aroma with some malt and barely any hop notes. Malty and lagery flavor with some crisp hop in the finish.

May 8, 2009 Taste of the first batch back at the WBF VIP tent. Unfiltered. Damn good. Hazy light orange/golden pour. Floral hops. Crisp and tasty. Can’t wait for the bottles to return.

Having lived in VA/MD/DC region for a long time I use to drink this one pretty regularly, and I didn’t realize it had been retired, which explains why I haven’t seen it in a while....
Overall Impression:
Looking back on an old rating I had no comments but the score, so I’ll just score it for now. I do remember thinking it was a pretty nice one for it’s style, but not much else about it.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle, #400 Hazy yellow pour with huge head. Light pilsy aroma and flavor. Pretty bad. I literally didn’t finish it with dinner at a restaurant. Avoid this one!

Aug 12, 2008 Shared by Bill: Light yellow pour with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, with fresh lemon citrus. Very malty backbone here, but surprisingly bitter and full-flavored for the style. This is a pilsner for people who drink IPAs.

Aug 8, 2008 Pours from 12 oz bottle a lovely, hazy straw color. Aroma of hops, malts, biscuity yeast and straw. Flavour of malts, yeast a bit of hops and citrus. Extremely smooth and tasteful beer. An excellent pils!
