Black with some transparency at the edges. Decent khaki head.
Nose is strong boozy bourbon. Some coffee and chocolate roasted malt. Really intense barrel.
Bourbon is really intense in the taste, too. I understand that these are Chocolate Bourbon barrels from Pritchard’s, but I don’t get a ton of chocolate. Just a harsh bourbon and roasted malt.
Boozy. Medium body. Medium carbonation.
The barrel is intense. Too intense for me.
