UPDATED: JUN 11, 2023 Finally, FINALLY! Huge thanks SinH4 for sharing this 2019 bottle with me! Lovely red-amber body, shiny, no head. Huge aroma, sweet, full honey, a fair bit of alcohol, but well integrated. Raspberries? Hmm, sure, there is a fruitiness, candied, liqueurish. And oh my... fantastic smooth honey profile, caramelly, lightly woody, with just the teeniest bit of raspberry candy or dried fruit, especially by the finish just so smooth, so well balanced. Never feels cloying, despite that's the fun part, the fruitiness seems to have provided some vague, well, wouldn't say tartness really, but it is in a way. A masterpiece, a world classic, a mead that's more than worthy of its hype. Poland can and should be proud of the hype.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2023 Bottle sample at Miodosytnia. Clear red color, still. Subtle berry aroma. Taste is sweet overripe berry vanilla lemon honey. Tasty

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2023 Tasting from both glass and stoneware bottle/ Appearance: clear rich copper Aroma: Complex, aged, sweet, fruity, floral, slightly alcoholic Taste: Very sweet but not cloying, well balanced with tartness and slight aged profile. Very smooth. slightly perceivable rosehips. Overall: One of, if not, the best commercially produced mead.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2023 Bottle shared by Matt. Thanks! Shiny dense copper appearance. Big rich honey front. Aroma is sweet honey and soft maple. Not picking up much berry apart from maybe some added sweetness to an already sturdy bill. Little is a lot with this, but it is most excellent.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2023 A small pour from 750ml (thx, Matt!) @ Matt's new place. Appearance: clear copper with no head. Aroma: quite complex, lots of wood, very sweet, lots of nice honey, quite boozy. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet, loads of honey. Overall: amazing!

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2023 Butelka 0,25 l. Ciemnomiedziane, jakby lekko zamglone, bez piany. W aromacie (nie tak intensywnym jak liczyłem) nuty miodu, karmelu, alkoholu, kwiatowe. W smaku bardzo gęste, lepkie, bardzo słodkie, miód, karmel, cukier, likierowość, kandyzowane pomarańcze, szlachetny alkohol, finisz rozgrzewający. Pełnia bardzo wysoka, wysycenia i goryczki oczywiście brak, alkohol rozgrzewający, obecny ale przyjemny. Pyszny, bardzo słodki, deserowy napitek, do bardzo długiej degustacji.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2022 Аромат сразу ощущается очень ярко, очень много приятного натурального меда, далее нотки от карамели и коричневого сахара, возможно намеки на дерево. Цвет темно желтый, насыщенный, без пены. Вкус весьма сахарный, очень сладкий и приятный. Меда столько что буквально жуешь его во рту, но не отдает приторными нотками как в настоящем меде. Затем есть карамель и мимолетный коричневый сахар, как бывает на леденце. При глотке дико мягко по телу, а также согревает горло как при ликере. В целом просто фантастика, хотя ягод, честно, не нашел.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2022 Poured from 750mL bottle. Clear, dark golden orange. The honey really shines through here, hint of raspberry, concentrated liquer quality, really nice.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 zapach słodki miodowo karmelowy. Gęste kolor ciemnego miodu, lekka kwaśność podkreśla słodycz. Przyjemnie, pijalne alko niewyczuwalne
