(Cask at GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Black colour with brief, pale brown head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of coffee and cocoa. Roasted, malty taste with strong black coffee, dark chocolate and a generous coffee bitterness in a clean and fresh finish. Medium body, dry. An excellent example of irish stout.

Cask. Low fluffy but lasting light brown head. Pitch black body. Lovely and distinct coffee cocoa aroma. Mild but good coffee liquorice flavor with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.
