Oceanside claims to be "Conscientiously affecting the ostentatious, weird, or bizarre." Tasting Daliesque confirms their dedication to that mantra. This "Sour Blonde" is full of funk. Pale color. It’s earthy, sour, musty, and lightly acetic. Vinegar, barnyard, and tart citrus notes in the taste profile. A bit vinous. Pretty cool to have a Lambic of this style from the US. Even cooler to have one with several years of age.

(Thanks, Shawn! "MacBoost") Bottle. A- Slight funk, apricot, acidic. A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, no head. T- Slight funk, slight vinegar, stone fruits, acidic, tart. P- Light body, effervescent texture, high carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Vintage 2011. This is one tasty brew. I expected it to be full of funk and tons of Brett. Nope, it was tart, refreshing, and really easy to drink. The barrel aging didn’t seem to do much to it and it held up well after even 5-6 years.

Bottled. Cloudy golden, minimal head. Tart mango aroma with some vinegar. Dry and juicy with mild vinegary sourness. Hay and grapestone bitterness, tropical fruits with salty vinegar. Significant bitterness. Lovely, juicy sour ale. Not very complex, just grabs you by the horns and drags you away.
