4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Havent heard much from the press on this brewery, and what little there is, it is fair at best. This brew must be exception. I would give this a solid 5 if you rated on FUN. this was a sour patch kid, lemon drop, and green apple sour power belt dancing on your tongue like a brazilian zuba teacher. In the finish it mellowed out to a bready yeast character like a mexican bakery. This beer is great for chicks but not a chick beer if you know what I mean. It doesnt have the sophistication or pedegree like the stuff over the pond. But then again the french wine snobs never like the powerful red zins from CA. Fantastic beer. 750 bottle.

Off the main drag in a Las Vegas hotel , in a small elegant steak room that would be suitable for Mathilde. The Maitre d’ recommende this once he found out this style was to my liking. I had forgotten brewery name but did not forget name of the beer. Daliesque...worhty of the name. Typical US beer makers pushing it too far. This one however, came together just right. Perhaps because it was a 2011. This was profoundly tart, and powerfully pungent....almost blue cheese pungent. I enjoyed the fact it had the pure characteristics of oak, hay, cork, green apple, lactic acid sourness...even though it was done somewhat overpowering.

My Bottom Line:
Tart citrus fruit eventually build a bucketful of oranges from this lean, impressive Lambic-style emulation.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the cloudy orangey beige.
-Bubbles are soft and tiny. Not quite authentic at that level, but it still works nicely with the flavor profile.
-Drinkability is perhaps higher than it is for most authentic lambics.
-Sourness is moderate for the style.

Offered @ Out of the Park Pizza. Hazed, lowly carbonated golden straw pour with a small white head. Nose is kind of briny. Some lemon juice and zest, a bit of banana, and some tropical fruit. Green apples, too. Flavor is certainly sour. Kind of a mineral oil and brine thing going on too, though. Lots of lactic acid...really sour. Green apple and lemon are prominent. Mild banana and tropical sweetness. Eh.

Going down the list of my fav style. This one like others are a rough find. 750 Bottle good price. fantastic aroma of pear, sour mellon and green apple tart. Flavor was initial brett and real tart. Great balance. Excellent to style. Love it when a US beer can do that

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle courtesy of mpurcy from the brewery -- thanks! Pours a hazy, rusty orange with light / delicate carb. Aroma is subtle but pleasant with oak and funk, tart fruit. Taste is quite good and traditional for the style -- tart and dry with wood, mineral, fruit, funk notes. You could have told me blind that this was a gueuze from Belgium and I wouldn’t have doubted you. Nice brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours hazy pale amber, small off-white fizzy head, not much retention, not much lacing; as expected per style. Aroma is tart, a bit funky, fruity, white grape. Flavor is surprisingly sweet up front, fading into light tartness. Just a fit of barnyard funk hanging out in the background, but definitely overpowered by fruitiness - lemon, white grape, perhaps green apple, plus some oaky and vinous notes. Lingering tartness on the finish. Medium body. Well, I must say I was half expecting this to be a nightmare, but its not. Its not a 100 point beer either, but it is certainly drinkable and interesting.

seven San Diego Sours in Seven Days. #6 pours light orange yellow, bottle conditioned clear at first and yeasty sediment at bottom. Brett lacto and sourdough nose and flavor. Mango sour, very tart enamel remover. No head but small tiny almost cask carbonation. Great beer.

Met owner of brewery and my brother talked him into pouring one as it was not on list. Poured in a mini snifter glass. Great and odd in a same vein. Grassy lemon a wierd oak basement character with cigar box flavor. Interesting kept wanting more. Great brew in an extremely hot warehouse..
