A Barrel Aged "Lambic Style" Sour Blonde. Daliesque: Conscientiously affecting the ostentatious, weird, or bizarre.

At Khorys liquor. 750 bottle. 2012 on label neat label. After popping to big sour mango and apple. Pour very light carbonation with no head. Cloudy and yeasty I. Appearance. Flavor of super sour and tart. Hay barnyard goat cheese and wine like finish. A very dry wine almost apple brandy like without the alcohol. Finished extremely crisp.

Tasting at Matt’s
Murky dull blond color with no head. Mild aroma, a bit fruity, a bit funky, apparently sweet. Softened dry mouthfeel, moderately sour, quite lactic and cheesy flavors, a bit fruity, with low bitterness. Too yeasty as well.
Decent sour beer that does never get close to a Belgian Lambic.

Bottle... Lightly hazed apricot-colored pour with a fizzy, fleeting, white head. The aroma is fairly restrained - fuzzy fruits and a hint of damp oak. Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. The flavor is sour and offers three or four different stone fruits, but is also a tad too thin. Tongue-numbing, super tart finish that dries out completely. I could crush a lot of this. Bottle courtesy of 50belair!

Cloudy, bit muddy, no head. Extra feet, eggs, sulphur. Has some appley, light fruity, a bit of leathery. Not a bad beer, but not in line with the ratings.

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2015 Bottle. Pours yellow no head. Nose and taste of lemon, light chemical, light sour funk and light apple - medium body. This should be nowhere near the top of the Ratebeer list for Unblended lambics.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a tiny white head. Aroma smells pretty authentic, with highly acidic tart notes, some funk, sheep, and feet. Flavour is quite authentic as well, with sheep, feety funk, and some light cheddar cheese. Light acidity and medium tartness. After a while, it doesn’t really strike me as an authentic lambic, but it’s a pretty nice attempt at it. Very nice.
