Hipster latest n greatest. Lemon sour, like lemon drop. In fact I put sugar on rim for my second flute. LPR,LPD or LPM what ever you wanna call it, this will make a chipper out of any Betty. It is real sour, some oak, some cellar, some bubblie, overall amazeballs.

Poured at GABF, yes I poured it at GABF as a volunteer pourer. This was the best beer I had at the show. Not bad accolades after all the beer I got to try. Smelled crazy with sour apple and peaches. As description said on their sheet, it was bracingly sour!!! Oh so sour, a great lemon sour patch kid sour. Additions of oak and a liitle taste of walnut added to the wonderful complexity. Unlike anything I have had.

2011 Vintage
Tasted on 9/27/14 from a waxed and capped 750mL bottle purchased from Beverages4Less. Pours hazy light orange with a thin, bubbly white head that leaves a thin, bubbly collar. The nose is fairly clean lemon citrus, a touch of dusty bread malt, a touch of funk, and a ton of orange oil. The flavor is full of orange peel and orange oil with some lemon tartness, and the same malty bread note, but it is never terribly sour. The body is fairly light with a nice tannic texture, just under average carbonation and a long tart orange peel and lightly dusty, funky finish.

I loved this sour brew 750 bottle. Poured pretty clear with bunch of sediment on bottom. Paech lemon aroma, yum. Flavor acidic lemon and pear and green apple. Finished with a sour dough yeast character. GREAT.

Pure radiant golden slightly red hued light frothy foam, white. Bits of enteric earthy, soft feel low carbonic, fruity, dry mineral, grapefruit, light citric tang. This is wonderful.

Havent heard much from the press on this brewery, and what little there is, it is fair at best. This brew must be exception. I would give this a solid 5 if you rated on FUN. this was a sour patch kid, lemon drop, and green apple sour power belt dancing on your tongue like a brazilian zuba teacher. In the finish it mellowed out to a bready yeast character like a mexican bakery. This beer is great for chicks but not a chick beer if you know what I mean. It doesnt have the sophistication or pedegree like the stuff over the pond. But then again the french wine snobs never like the powerful red zins from CA. Fantastic beer. 750 bottle.

Off the main drag in a Las Vegas hotel , in a small elegant steak room that would be suitable for Mathilde. The Maitre d’ recommende this once he found out this style was to my liking. I had forgotten brewery name but did not forget name of the beer. Daliesque...worhty of the name. Typical US beer makers pushing it too far. This one however, came together just right. Perhaps because it was a 2011. This was profoundly tart, and powerfully pungent....almost blue cheese pungent. I enjoyed the fact it had the pure characteristics of oak, hay, cork, green apple, lactic acid sourness...even though it was done somewhat overpowering.
