Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het heeft een fel rode kleur met weinig schuim. De geur is chemisch zoet, kersen, snoepachtig. De smaak is kunstmatig kersen.

Pours unclear Red, small white head. Smell is sweet, strip, some Twigs, geen aspect, as well as the obvious kriek. Taste is sweet, intense fruity, twigd. Not bad.

Bottle. Hazy deep red color, pink head. Aroma of tart cherry, light citrus. Taste is very sour cherry, tart finish. Refreshing enough.

climberbob (906) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2015
2006 vintage opened in 2015. Flat w no head or carbonation. Aroma of cherry candy and sweet hay. Sweet candy cherry bomb on the front that gives a slick mouthfeel. Becomes a little tart in the middle but finishes sweet. Some additional raisin and plum notes - probably from the aging. Ok but a bit too candy sweet. Needs to be tarter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Alengrin (11011) - Gent, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2014
The kriek in this series, made from 2003 till Riva went bankrupt and fortunately not restored by Moortgat so far; very sweet, syrupy kriek, tasting and smelling of not much else but overtly sweet cherry extracts. I am glad the trend of light, witbier-based, onedimensionally sweet fruit beers seems to have passed a bit now.

Dunkelrotes Bier mit pinker Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr süß nach Kirschen, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.

Dogbrick (18555) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2013
This beer pours a hazy reddish-brown color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of cherries and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tart cherry, malt and roasted nuts. The finish is mildly tart with a short cherry aftertaste. Average overall.

September 2011. Bottle. Sweet and artificial cherry aromas. Dark red with a pink fizzy head. Cherry and sticky flavors. Easy one to forget.

Abijen (2571) - ’s-Hertogenbosch, NETHERLANDS - APR 15, 2013
Pours a red beer with a small pink not long lasting head. It smells like cherry, much cherry. Very very sweet. The taste is very juicy. Cherry lemonade , very sweet and little sour. It has a thin body, watery texture and a lively carbo. This one is way to sweet and missing the alcohol.
