Aroma is a little weker than you should expect. The beer tastes good and there is a realy nice bitterness in the after. doubelknv3 (577), Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 29, 2005 Pint+.9 Bottle: Pour wasnt very exciting. Head went away, no lacing and kinda carby. Some floaters bouncing around which kinda weirded me out at first. Overall drinkage is flat and water. Taste is average for a WheatDunkle. Some smokey malt, brown sugar, little caramel. Raisins, and even a little banana. Taste and texture warmed up to me a few sips in to where I could enjoy it more. Retains its flat and carby texture though. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 11, 2009 Pours medium to light brown with off-white head. Nose is somewhat tame compared to other Hefe-Weizens I’ve sampled recently, whether dunkel or not. Palate offers a medium malty flavor with brown bread, light baking spices, and a faint suggestion of cookie dough. Finish is medium short with more cookie dough.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2008 (Sample from September 29, 2006 Beer Club Meeting; 500ml bottle, last on July 12, 2008) Quick drink before going out… looks great in the glass, a lovely dark brown color. Light and sweet, but less sweet than many of the lighter Weissbiers. More heavy, malty and minerally. Honestly, I think of this beer and I think "lunch". Goes great with a bag lunch, ham & cheese, etc. Yummy! jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Pours brown with large, foamy tan head. Nose is toasted malt, wheat, molasses. The flavor is rather musty, spicy with almost a peppery note, overlying banana, and chocolate. Rather sweet. Finish is somehow tongue coating. Not bad stuff.
