Added Bonus: The can kinda looks like a pop can so all the more covert in those sketchy social or family situations. Cartoonkhaki (1158), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

Large 750 mL can... yes I’m going to drink it all!!!
Light golden yellow with white head.Aroma is a dry musty aroma, not a good must but a wet towel that has sat in your bathroom for a few weeks type of must... there is a bit of grain in the finish of the aroma as well... Flavour is sweet so yest it is malty but in a syrup type of way which leads you to the body... syrup type body with a somewhat dry finish.
Now that I’m a more mature beer drinker then I was in 2002 does this go to show that when you get older you enjoy the crap more?? Hahahahh!!! A 1.7 over the ol’ 0.5 I gave it....
~~~~ Old Rating 0.5
This is corn beer to the maximum extent a corn beer can be.
There was a bottle sitting in the back of my brothers trunk during a really hot time in July. It must of been 70 degrees. And maybe it was the bottle of rye I had first, but somehow I managed to choke this beer down. Be advised to only drink this under similar conditions. Then your a beer drinkin’ daredevil. iam (369), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 20, 2004 This is Black Label done in the ice process. It has some characteristics of black label but neither this Black Ice nor Molsons other Carling offering have the full bodied taste of Black label lager when it was a Carling staple. This Black Ice, like regular black label has retained one characteristic common to the Carling products I remember sampling...it disagrees with me the same way the old Carlings BL did. Tastes ok but afterwards...it’s the pondo shuffle. It must be the yeast...whatever it is it’s the one reason I stayed away from Black label for years. can poured a light gold color, very clear and not too carbonated, with a light frothy head that does not stay long. Smells of light maltyness and not much hopping. Starts fairly light and crisp then sits with a not unpleasant malty sweetness on the palate slight wisper of hops then finishes clean with no decernable after tastes.
A smooth and easy drink for a mega brewed ice beer....I think you may like it if you like medium bodied lagers. I certainy can’t fault this beer on smooth taste but it just seems to diagree with my system....even in single pint quantities. Be warned! pintbypint (1050), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Light gold colour, gigantic foamy white head upon pouring, predictably vanished to a light film of bubbles within 30 seconds. Lightly grainy, sweetish adjuncty nose. Was expecting something overly fizzy, but carbonation seemed very low, thin body. Alcohol barely perceptable. not much in terms of flavour at all, lightly sweet water. dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
It is very easy to produce a ’well balanced product’ when you only hop with 10 IBUs. Your standard mass produced american/candian lager. MrManning (1723), London, Ontario, Canada
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 17, 2004 The head looked nice, that was the only good thing. Straw coloured body. Aroma is can, alcohol, and a small amount of hops. You can taste the alcohol above all, but there is some sort of sweet corn flavour as well. This stuff is for strictly getting bombed. Next!
