Fruity aroma and slightly citrusy hop flavor Really enjoyable. I don’t even like fishing, but I can see myself on a boat on the middle of a lake catching a big eye trout.

This beer is more traditional with quite a bit more malt than sculpin. deep copper hue (malt) with a sudsy white head. alot of malt and pine on the nose. nice piney hop flavors with a huge malt presence to back up this and balance everything out. I have never had this beer fresh before and it was a treat to finally have this nice sample. orange rinds on the finish! very nice! palate is great with a good balance of carbonation and mouthfeal-slightly slick. a bit of cheese on the nose as it warmed. a very nice IPA! yinzerbeernut (99), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Generous white head with a nice amount of lacing on the glass. Inviting floral hop bouquet with grapefruit undertones. This is a medium bodied, easy drinking, IPA that has a nice balance. There is a smooth, yet not too hoppy, finish. Getbetter (80), Cucamonga, California, USA

Taste is very hoppy much like a good pale ale. Nothing extra special but overall a good pale ale that pleases the palate. RPKLove (30), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 5, 2010 Herbal aroma with citrus hops. Amber and hazy appearance with with a frothy tan head. There is a medium to heavy sweetness for an IPA hith a light bitterness. It’s very lively on the palate, I even taste some apple notes. A little sweet for me, but very good overall. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 24, 2010 Crisp, clean, refreshing IPA highlighted by lemon and other citrus flavors. Not so syrupy that you’ll get full having a few of these, and not so dry that you’ll pucker out after a bottle. Just an easy drinking, very enjoyable IPA.
