corkyrory66 (6650) - BELGIUM - FEB 13, 2022

Kulminator, antwerp. Darker yellow coloured with a lot of carbonation and a large white head. Very fruity (green appel) yeasty aroma with some light madeira touches. Full palate. Finish is again fruity and yeasty.

Bottled (BB 08/2005)
Hazy yellow color, enourmous white head. Fruity (apples) yeasty, lightly citrusy aroma. Mellow and tasty, yeasty flavor. Citrusy, peppery and only slightly alcoholic beer. Very well-balanced, excellent.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 2, 2005
Dark yellow colored, very big lasting white head. Medium cloudy appearance. Spicy, citrus, fruity aroma, some vinous tones too. Flavor has also some vinous tones and mild yeast, ends with lasting pepper, dryness and mild alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Nice brew indeed, flavor is stronger than aroma.

(Bottled, BBE 08/2005) Hazy golden color with an enormous, frothy head (0,1 liters easily fills up a Duvel glass)! Very strong, witbier-spicy, citric and peppery aroma (even through all the foam). Very crisp, fruity and peppery, sweetish and yeasty flavor with a bitter, spicy finish. You can taste the pepper for a long time. Medium-bodied, smooth, oily and bitter palate with lots and lots of foamy carbonation (mostly dissipated in a Duvel glass, though). Easily drinkable - the biggest problem is to fit it into the glass ;) A quite complex and very refreshing tripel.
