Optimal foam. Elegant color, red amber are stirred. Wrapping, rich taste of fruits (red apple, raspberry). A lot balanced. To try absolutely.

Bottle. Nice amber/red colour. Nice head, decent lacing. Nose was a bit withdrawn, not as much going on as I expected. Good mouthfeel. Great sweet malts, candi sugar and yeasty goodness tastewise. Solid.

Bottle at Cafeeke in Madrid: Aroma of pale malt and slight candi sugar. Poured copper in color with a huge, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Medium sweet flavor. Tastes of malt and light candi sugar. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet malt finish. 8.2%ABV is completely hidden throughout. Did not note any creaminess.

Color bruno-mogano, con una schiuma cremosa e compatta, al naso profumi di frutta passita, frutta che ritorna nel gusto un pò troppo dolce, se sentono le note etiliche. buono il corpo. nel complesso avvolgente, un pò stucchevole.

Bottle 330ml. Perfectly balanced, stunning. Aromas of caramel, butter, and also some alcohol. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and a long warm finish. Palate is syrupy, and full-bodied. Amber colour, with a creamy white head.

Amber color with minimal beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel and light of fruit. Medium body. In mouth it slightly begins sweetish, to end enough dry and bitterish.

Amber. Rapidly fading beige head. Small bead. Earthy, spicy, cigar box aromas. Lively, yeasty mouthfeel. Dried fruits and tobacco. Rich but not heavy. Long spicy finish. I didn’t notice the alcohol. 4th Leffe I’ve tried recently and easily the best.

Orange with a huge and dense head. Very fruity and very sweet with a lot of spices and dark dried fruits. It is very cloying, however, and the alcohol is not well hidden.

bottle, BBF 10/2007. Pours a deep brown colour with a large and creamy beige head. Aroma of tobacco, caramel and berries. Full-bodied, intensive malty flavours dominate, hints of tobacco, raspberries and blackcurrant. Smooth palate, lingering finish with hints of blackberries and blackcurrant, shy hints of tobacco stay on the palate.
